FINALLY!.....

We have a health care bill!
It is not perfect. It doesn't include a public option.
It places significant restriction on a woman's reproductive options.
But, it's not bad.
It takes away the insurance companies protection from anti-trust laws.
It gives people greater options when shopping for coverage.
It allows people to stay with the coverage they have if they are happy with it.

No...there are no "Death Panels", rest easy Grandma.
No...undocumented immigrants will not be covered.
(Federal law has barred "illegals" from getting any type of
Federal benefits since 1996, sorry tea baggers!)

No, the Republican party did not support this bill.
They had a different bill that was much easier to understand.
Don't get sick. If you do get sick, die quickly!

The republicans are already boohooing on how the democrats
don't get the message of the Nov. 2 elections. "People are tired
of the borrowing and taxes " they say.
But let me point out a few things "THEY" don't want to talk about.

First, Ole Billy Clinton gave us a balanced budget and a surplus, THEY
brought back deficit spending.
Second, the Bush tax cuts are still in effect. Obama has only cut taxes more!
He has not raised taxes! If he did the deficit would be more in control.
And last...I know 2 out of 3 isn't bad, but come on!
Winning the governors race in Virginia(Red State) is not a surprise.
Winning in New Jersey against an unpopular incumbent, wow, how tough is that.

Now that brings us to the 23 rd district race in New York. This race was a three way
contest between a Democrat , a republican and a tea bagger Conservative running as an
independent. The RNC and our old friend Sarah Palin supported the tea bagger.
Well, guess what! The Democrat won! For the first time in 150 years that
seat has a Democrat in it.


So now on the the Senate.
Call your senators now and tell them to pass this bill!

Our old friend Sarah Palin is off the reservation again. This time she will be speaking at a "right to life" meeting in Wisconsin.
Not that she's paranoid, but....
No press will be allowed into the meeting. None, not a one of any kind.
No recording devices, cameras or cell phones.
None!
Not even if you bought a ticket!

Not that I think she has anything to say worth recording...but , Damn!
